General Grant (Curt Fields) will join General Lee (Thomas Jessee) in Jacksonville, Florida, on January 27th, instant, for the Kirby Smith Camp #1209, Sons of Confederate Veterans, annual Lee-Jackson banquet. They will present “Appomattox: The Last 48 Hours” about the communications between them that ultimately resulted in their historic meeting in the parlor of the Wilmer Mclean house.
Hear what they actually wrote to each other and what was going on the minds of each General as their armies did a deadly dance across the Virginia countryside.
