General Grant and General Robert E. Lee (Thomas Jessee) are honored to invite all who have an interest in their meeting in Appomattox to join them in the beautiful Renaissance Theatre in Kingsport, Tennessee, to hear them discuss that momentous meeting. They will talk of their feelings about that event and how it came to pass when and where it did.
This event is part of the annual FUNFEST in Kingsport. The Generals are grateful that this meeting is being brought about by the Civil War Round Table of Kingsport and the Kingsport Office of Cultural Arts.
